Gdansk brewing tradition has been revived by installing a brewery on site, where 3 kinds of beer – Brovarnia Light Beer, Brovarnia Dark Beer and Brovarnia Wheat Beer – are brewed according to the Bavarian Purity Law from 1516, the oldest legal standard of nurture.

 

 

  • Dag 1 Arrival to Gdansk

    x Arrival to Gdansk. Meeting with the driver from Ernesto Travel – and transfer by mini bus or bus to the hotel in Gdansk. Check-in the hotel Gdansk ****.
    21.00 Dinner at the restaurant or in the hotel. First night in Gdansk.
  • Dag 2 Gdansk and Solidarnosc

    8.00 Breakfast at the hotel.
    9.00 Guided tour of Gdansk, which was one of the richest cities in the XVII century. The programme includes: the Cathedral of Oliwa (sightseeing inside) with its famous pipe organ, an organ music concert, the Main Town Hall, the Fish Market, the Old Harbour, Saint Mary's Church (sightseeing inside), the Long Market with Neptune's Fountain, and Artus Court.
    13.00 Free time for lunch
    14.30 “Solidarnosc”: visiting the Solidarnosc Museum in the Gdansk Shipyard and the Monument of the Fallen Gdansk Shipyard Workers from the year 1970. Transfer to Sopot and a walk along one of its piers: the city is called the capital of the Polish sea. (If there is free time left, transfer to Westerplatte, where World War II began on the 1st of September, 1939).
    18.00 Leisure time in the centre of Gdansk.
    20.00 Dinner at a hotel with special dish from our Restaurant Brovarnia Gdańsk and Brovarnia Light, Dark or Wheat beer 0,5 l per person. Overnight in Gdansk.
  • Dag 3 06.03.2011 Departure from Gdansk and from Poland.
